New Demo Home Cinema Room Week 9

Carpet Goes In

It’s week 9 of working on our home cinema demo room and it’s time to lay the carpet.

We’ve gone with a luxurious black and grey flecked, thick pile carpet. Which will give a nice feel underfoot and look great.

The carpet will kick up around 35cm in the cinema room walls and the office has skirting. We’ve also gone with a premium underlay which really helps give the floor a really nice bounce, like you are walking on clouds.

Once the carpet had been finished we started to move some of our office furniture in.

Fortress Cinema Seating

We are a big fan of Fortress Cinema Seating, they are premium quality, handmade in the USA. Fortress have been building seating since the 1940’s, initially for boardrooms and high-end offices and then in the 1990’s they started designing home theatre seating for custom home cinemas.

Falling in Love with the Mclaren Orange and Black motorised recliners we’d previously seen we opted for these in the demo room. They look fantastic and are solid and really comfortable.

Furniture All In

That’s all the office and cinema furniture in, Next up we will finish off the lighting, mount the screen, projector, cable the rack and connect everything together ready for configuration and testing.
